LIHI and I as well as Catwoman maintained a Survivor thread on the other place (FN - not the toilet) where we could banter about one of our favorite shows. Don't know how many (or any) like-minded fans are here... but I will be posting Dalton Ross' weekly recaps, upcoming episode trailers, and general discourse on the show.
It's what we do.

Dalton's Week 1 Review...So Long, So. And - a chick like that in the corporate world? She would fit right in. Can't lie for shit. Found it funny that the NC and BC teams had fire almost immediately. The WC team - not so much. Typical. And - the doochebag WC guy Joaquin and his diatribe on women wanting the muscled man to do the work - glad he isn't in the company I work for. He wouldn't last a day. The dude with feathers in his hair - Vince. This dude is a future stalker. Dan - brother will be the first from his tribe to go. Dude - shut the fuck up! This season has much potential. I'll keep this fire burning until LIHI joins. And - if anyone has Cat's address...

This week's post is delayed as my wife and I spent the last few days with her dad as he had some "tests" done... weak kidneys and a hernia on a 74 year old man with COPD isn't something to be trifled with. This weekend looks to be a "catch up on the DVR" weekend. My thoughts will be here soon enough. Hopefully Cat and LIHI will be joining the party.

Dalton's Recap - Monkeying aroundSo - the douchebag on the "Blue Collar" team doesn't dig "Yo momma" jokes... He would hate Sports Chatter where yo momma would beat his ass. I was convinced Dan will be the first one tossed from that team whenever they end up at TC. Not now. And - Rodney I believe it is - got news for you, meathead. Lots of people want to live in Texas. Anyway - weeding the chaff out right now. But it's setting up to be a great season.

Hey Otis - this has been a great season so far! I like Joe and Tyler to win it all, but Joe might be in trouble after that knuckle headed decision to sit Nina in the challenge. I'm not sure what the logic was behind that.
Looks like we're having an early medical situation next week. And the blue collar tribe may explode even though they keep winning. Strange dynamic on that tribe with some really strong personalities.

Strange dynamic on that tribe with some really strong personalities. I really can't wait to see the Blue Collar group in a Tribal Council. That would be epic and worth two segments all on it's own. Problem right now is they are clearly the best team and it isn't close. And with the No Collar's imploding before our eyes (which shouldn't be surprising in hindsight - no leadership = a mess), the tribe "juggling" episode can't be too far off (maybe this week with the 2 hour spectacular?) Nina was a fish out of water. Too bad because she seemed to have some ability... but her social skills are shit. I always argue with my buddy about how much those "social skills" matter. He's still pissed that Russell Hantz didn't win the year he came in second. You can't just win everything and also just piss everyone off in that game. That's why Boston Rob is the best "Survivor" of all time.

That's why Boston Rob is the best "Survivor" of all time. I can see the Blue Collars throwing a challenge just to get to tribal - they are that volatile! But I agree - a tribal shakeup has to be coming because the no collars are going to lose again regardless of what the challenge may be. Will just can't compete. The thing that bothered me about Nina was the blame game all the time. I understand that when you have hearing and then later lose it, it's easier to see how people treat you differently. But dang, she brought it up so much it was ridiculous. Social skills are SO important!

Preview for tonight's 2 hour episode; Winner Winner Chicken DinnerAs expected - 3 tribes go to two. We will see if it's a complete shakeup or if the sad "No Collar" tribe just gets absorbed by the other two.

Dalton's Week 4 ReviewI can't recall seeing that much blood in a episode unless maybe when they were eating calf brains or something. And I can't tell you the tribe names other than "Blue" and "Red". But I know this - "Red" is screwed. That is one seriously overmatched tribe right there. Pretty bad when the only male on the team (now that Max the Survivor history buff has left) is clearly the worst player on the team... physically, mentally, socially - Will is the epitome of a coattail rider. And I know this - Rodney is a douchebag. Seriously dude? Tom Brady??? What an asshole. And - Danny boy... I'm just going out on a limb here and saying - Mike is half your age and has probably already dated twice number of women you have. Sierra was right - worst apology ever. The game is on. I love that show.

Dalton Ross' Recap - "Odd Woman Out"Rodney fancies himself as a Boston Rob or Russell Hantz. Dude might go down as the dumbest rock I've seen play Survivor. I'll bet Dalton retweeted 15-20 posts last night from some of the all time best Survivor players that said the same thing... "Never, NEVER throw a challenge!" That look on his face at the end last night was priceless. Dude is a serious douchebag and dumb fuck.

Boston Rob is the Tom Brady of Survivor. KIng Damn sure is. He had all three phases of the game down perfectly. Russell Hantz could have given him a run for his money had his social game not sucked to complete high heavens. Ol' Rodney couldn't carry Rob's smelly Red Sox jock. Too bad the merge is coming. I could see a concerted effort to get his ass out of there.

Now as for Junior Hantz...... serious nutbar As nutty as that dude was... his cousin (Russell's nephew) was even more unstable. Dude was on "Big Brother" and got into a fight (punches thrown) with another contestant. Serious idiot. Was immediately pulled and sent packing and wasn't invited to the "Post Game show".

Dalton Ross' review; "The Line Will Be Drawn Tonight"The merge was wonderful. Jenn playing the idol when absolutely no one knew it was coming was wonderful. Watching the look on that douchebag Rodney's face for the second week in a row was wonderful. He is a serious gasbag. He should have one hell of a role in the jury. Eventually.
