Deep fried fruit loops... just, why? we once were deep frying anything we could think of. I wonder what the fruit loops are contained in before they're dropped in the fryer |

Deep fried fruit loops... just, why? we once were deep frying anything we could think of. I wonder what the fruit loops are contained in before they're dropped in the fryer They have been serving fried turkey legs at the fair as long as I can remember going and that goes back over 40 years. Pretty certain it was about 10 years ago that someone decided "Fried Butter" and "Fried Beer" were worth selling at the Fair. I'm also pretty certain that the State Fair of Texas is where the term "we can fry anything" came from. Some things (Fried Jambalaya) are actually pretty good. Others (Fried Chewing Gum)... I can't bring myself to try. |

Last week the super market was selling fried Twinkies. We passed but I'm now rethinking that decision. You can thank the State Fair of Texas for that one. They were the first to do that years ago. |

Lobster and steak in a baked Tater  !!! Fuck me , that's food porn if i ever saw it !!! My Girls were eating deep fried Snickers bars at the annual Calgary Stampede a few years back . I had one bite and was thirsty for an hour - talk about uber crazy sweet, way too sweet. |

Yeah...that's where I discovered a fondness for Fried Twinkies...of course I used to eat them in a bowl, covered with canned peaches (for the syrup, of course) and topped with whipped cream.
I like Twinkies....

One of my Pals always brings his Turkey deep Fryer to our annual June Fishing / drinking / golfing / drinking trip . Without Wives around to wreck great ideas we have done many a marvelous meal in that thing . Deep Fried pork chops ........ Shit and snicker Gents , those fuckers are delicious . Your heart kind of races and stops weird for a few hours after you eat a couple , but well worth it .
